Original Hun Drumsticks

Hickory is the standard for a reason — dense enough to take a beating, springy enough to hand the rebound back to you. Hun sticks are turned from American hickory with a wood tip and a natural finish, carrying the maker’s own “Premium Quality Hickory” mark.

Three weights. One price. Pick by feel, not by budget. Every order is one pair — two sticks.

5A — the standard

The all-rounder, and the right default if you’re not sure. Balanced enough for church, highlife, gospel, jazz and pop without fighting you. If you’ve only ever owned one pair of sticks, they were almost certainly 5A.

X5A — the extended 5A

The same familiar 5A feel, with extra length. The added reach and leverage suit drummers sitting further back from the kit, or anyone who wants more throw on the stroke without stepping up to a heavier stick.

5B — the heavy one

Thicker and heavier through the shaft. More mass behind every stroke means more volume out of the drum for the same effort — the pick for rock, heavy gospel, and loud rooms without mics.

Why a wood tip

A wood tip gives a warmer, rounder cymbal voice than nylon, and it wears down evenly instead of chipping off the way a nylon tip eventually does. The rounded acorn profile keeps the attack focused on ride and hi-hat.
