KZ ZVX

The KZ ZVX is KZ’s flagship single-dynamic in-ear monitor. It runs a 10mm dual-cavity super-linear dynamic driver inside a full-metal cavity — the kind of hardware that normally sits in earphones costing several times as much.

Instead of the usual damping foam, the ZVX uses KZ’s electronic frequency modulation tuning. Traditional damping trades sensitivity away to shape the frequency response and can only do it bluntly; the electronic approach targets the frequencies it means to and loses far less output doing it, so the result is more accurate and stays efficient.

The metal shell keeps resonance down, the 2-pin cable is replaceable, and the bundled memory foam tips seal well enough to use on stage or on a noisy commute.
